“To equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.”- Ephesians 4:12-13
City Harvest Apostolic Ministries (CHAM) is a non-profit ministry that exists to train, heal, and equip individuals, groups, organizations (including churches), and businesses on the seven mountains of influence. We believe that God has equipped His children with the power and authority to heal people through His finished work on the cross, through His broken body, shed blood, and resurrection.
In 2002, God birthed CHAM through a vision He gave Rev. Dana McQuade for the broken-hearted. The vision highlighted the condition of many of God’s people who have not fulfilled their destinies, having been broken or made lame by their own sin or through the actions of others. God revealed His heart for transforming cities to Dana. As with many figures in Scripture, the Lord then allowed Dana to go through a deep wilderness experience where he lost his ministry and his family, all due to a lack of prayer. It was during these years the Lord sent Clay McCann to walk through this dark experience with Dana and Jesus brought them into understanding how intercession is the key to releasing us from misalignment with God and bringing freedom to us to fulfill the destiny He gave us. Through the process Dana learned the depth of the love of God for himself and others who have been ostracized or judged by the church and grace was imparted to Dana, whereby God returned his family and ministry to him.
In 2018, God led City Harvest Apostolic Ministries to be re-established by Dana as a Canadian non-profit ministry to assist God’s people by aligning their lives with God so they can fulfill their destinies in Christ. It was shortly after this time that Dana and his wife, Heather, asked Clay and Mona McCann, who possessed the same heart for the broken-hearted both inside and outside the church, to join their board of directors. Today, CHAM is a vibrant, growing ministry that serves by Empowering Leadership, Equipping the Body Enabling Healing and Engaging in Intercession.
Having both experienced and witnessed in many others the devastation that comes from being out of alignment with God, my desire is to assist leaders on every mountain of influence to overcome the cords that bind them (Prov. 5:22) because of misalignment through sin (unknowingly sinning), transgressions (willful sin or transgressions against God’s laws), and iniquities (our own or that of our bloodline/ancestors) that keep them from fulfilling their God-given destinies. My heart’s passion is to fulfill my God-given destiny to see leaders healed, transformed, equipped, and set towards their God-ordained ministry in this world to affect people for our Lord Jesus Christ. There is no greater joy for me than that.
I often remember the scripture from Isaiah 6 recalling my total “unclean lips” and God’s Holy, Holy, Holiness filling the whole earth. Then the Seraphim took the coal and cleansed my lips…took away my guilt and sin and the Lord asked, “Whom shall I send, who will go for us?”, and I said, “Here I am, send me.” My heart is to work with those called to leadership by “standing in the gap” for them and equipping them to do the same for those within their own spheres of influence. After understanding God’s grace firsthand in so many ways in my life, my desire is to see those who are called living within the grace I have been shown by walking with them in any way or ways possible.
